The
first CD realizations: "ELEVEN-ELEVEN" and "2001".
Australia is a really important country for Pasquale's
career, infact we'll see him there a lot in future.
It was during his second coming in Australia (1994), that Pasquale
Petrossi continued a really important collaboration with Claudio
Parente.
He didn't realized all his projects because of economical
difficulties, but he began the production of his first CD as a soloist
"Eleven-Eleven" (Clap Records Australia 2000) made in collaboration
with different musicians, among them we can find Claudio Parente
(Australia), Carmen Howe (Australia), Alfredo Josè Antonio (Angola)
and William Marino (Italy).
This CD contains 11 tracks some of them are only instrumental and
others are singed.
"Eleven-Eleven" includes a mini-suite of 12
minutes that gives the name to the album and one of the tracks (Blade
Eleven X-Eleven) includes a short mention of the "X-Files" and "Blade
Runner" themes. Five songs are singed in english and are included
in this CD.
The CD was realized in Australia for the most part, and it was interpreted
by Claudio Parente, Carmen Howe and Antonio Josè Alfredo. We can
situate the instrumental pieces among progressive rock, electronic
music and new age with some and isolated acoustic atmospheres. "Eleven-Eleven"
has been published in 2000 by Clap Records Australia. It was limited
edited and only distributed in Australia .
In 2000 Banana Joker began the achievement of "2001"
his second CD by himself. He recorded 9 instrumental tracks ( we
can find the mini-suite of 12 minutes that gives the name to the
CD).
He did it in six month only, in his own recorder studio and in the
Piero Pallotta's Magic Studio, in Italy. The music range over new-age, electronic
music, movie soundtracks, influenced by etnic
and classical music, for ex. The overture of the mini-suite
2001 is a mention of "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Richard Strauss.
The CD "2001" was published in February 2001 and Banana Joker
went to Australia to promote his CD on the radio too. |
